This subwoofer belongs to a new class of subs. Relying on four, 15-inch drivers in Danley’s proprietary BC enclosure, this subwoofer provides astonishing low end at maximum efficiency, as well as pinpoint directional capabilities. The BC415 is available with either 8- or 4-ohm drivers. In either case you can switch between four individual drivers or two pairs.
The Danley BC415 subwoofer is another unique subwoofer alignment from Danley Sound Labs. Using woofers that combine into a single exit provides impressive punch and extension out of a single cabinet. Due to the physical size of the BC design’s center exit the boundary exhibits forward directivity which can be increased with multiple enclosures.
Selecting the right amplifier for your subwoofer depends on a variety of factors and uses. The owner is ultimately responsible for choosing the best amplifier or amplifiers for the application. We recommend choosing an amp that is rated no less than continuous and no higher than program. Please note “Continuous” does not mean “forever”! Most subwoofer manufactures, including Danley Sound Labs, subscribe to the AES standards for subwoofer power ratings.
BC415s were used at the Sanford Stadium (project), the Kinnick Stadium – Iowa (project) and works very well with Jericho horns
